I am Open Source Web developer, I don't have a GIS background, ... not yet anyway.

I am the Lead developer for Rahn Land's MtLandSource.com. and will be co-presenting w/ Andy Rahn on Thursday at 11:30 about a "Transition from ESRI to Open Source: from Desktop to Published Web Map App".

My background is web application development and hosting on the Open Source LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and now more and more w/ Javascript front-ends. I believe in a future where "The Web is the Application".

Currently, I am excited to be working w/ a Geo stack, which in our case is; PostgreSQL, GeoServer and OpenLayers.js.
